The Service Lane Manager will assist with managing the workflow and customer operations of the Service Department.
The Service Lane Manager will partner with service employees to ensure the highest customer service and profit.
The Service Lane Manager operates an efficient and profitable service lane by adequately managing the advisors, and porters.
The Service Lane Manager is responsible for using their expertise to train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the service advisors' staff performance.
In addition, the Service Lane Manager will write up repair orders, maintain an above-average CSI score, and follow up with guest issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all Service Advisors.
Manage Porters to ensure the productivity of service lane.
Take TO's on any declined repair of safety-related work.
Manage internals to dealership guidelines Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory.
Attend General Manager/Owner meetings.
Monitors and controls the department's performance using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys.
Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
Accounts for all documents; ensures that none are missing and processed correctly.
Monitors promise times for the entire department.
Manages CSI follow-up process.
Manages unique order process between parts department and advisors.
Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting areas are clean, safe, and professional.
Ensures that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance.
Manage Loaner Vehicle Fleet to ensure effective use and safekeeping of company assets Maintains a safe work environment.
