Land Development Estimating Manager will manage the Estimating Department in accurately establishing estimates for the Land Development business unit.
Manage various quantity take-offs and prepare Land Development estimates for future White Books.
Oversee the bidding process for Land Development improvement.
Develop appropriate spreadsheets to evaluate bids.
Monitor costs expended vs.
budget on all active communities.
Conduct budget reviews for all active communities.
Prepare budget revisions and circulate for approval.
Develop consistent procedures to follow when performing take-offs and recording take-off data.
Identify changes to specifications, drawings or other information affecting the bill of material takeoffs.
Review takeoffs for accuracy as needed.
A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of land development estimating/experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
