This entry-level position involves handling and securing case evidence, and editing of detailed written investigative reports.
The evidence department is pivotal to the success of each case and overall function of the office.
Responsibilities:
Review reports for spelling and grammar mistakes High volume report editing and data-entry Enter new cases and update current cases Respond to new case referrals Track and maintain case inventory Coordinate and manage shipping of products MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Psychology, History, or other writing intensive major, or a Bachelor's Degree in Film, Multi-media, or other media intensive major required Must be able to type 50
words per minute Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents Exceptional written, and oral communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
