The funds generated in the ReStore support Foothills Habitat for Humanity's mission to provide affordable housing to lower-income people in Placer County while also keeping good, usable material from entering the landfill.
This Store Associate position has an essential role in the success of our organization.
Major Responsibilities Represent Foothills Habitat for Humanity and uphold the organization's values.
Communicate effectively and provide quality assistance to donors.
Ensure ReStore policies and procedures are followed.
Requires handling heavy items.
Also includes loading/unloading large items in and out of vehicles.

Receiving and processing a broad range of donations from windows and hardware to dishes and decor.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Perform other tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements One year customer service experience.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be a team player but also able to work independently.
Reliable and enthusiastic.
Good communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
Ability and willingness to learn.
Committed to a safe, clean, and secure working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position requires ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis and will experience frequent bending, squatting, lifting and repetitive motion.
Ability to work in a very active environment includes lifting, walking, and standing on concrete floors with no heat or air-conditioning.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug test.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.

Fixed Schedule:
Wednesday through Saturday 9:
45 AM -5:

Part-time 28 hours per week.
