Responsibilities The level of customer service at Kenny G & Company is exceptional and our Sales Associates are critical to that process.
Daily responsibilities may include:
A Jewelry Store Sales Associate is responsible to be familiar of the latest jewelry styles and fashion by educating themselves using trade publications and other catalogues.
They should strive to have product knowledge in all Gems, including origin, hardness, and values.
They must know what type of jewelry to promote to customers in keeping with the latest trends in the jewelry industry.
At all times ensure accuracy of price information and discounts and inform Assist with greeting guests.
Assist in the display of our beautiful merchandise.
Assisting with maintaining accurate inventory of all merchandise and ensuring merchandise security.
Communicating with customers face to face, as well as via phone and email.
Communicating with Bench Jewelers to assist with customer repairs and warranty work.
Inspect merchandise for quality control and stock our merchandise.
Participating in and exemplifying our company culture.
Participation in and proper usage of all customer services offered in store, including financing, layaway, and jewelry cleaning and checks.
Tendering of monies, credit cards, gift cards, etc.
We will provide you with continued training you will need to be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our merchandise, represent our brand, and create an exceptional store experience for every customer.

Qualifications A minimum of 2 years' experience is preferred providing an elevated level of sales experience in a face-to-face environment.
Prior experience in the jewelry industry is not required, we will teach you! customers of the quality, stone type, weight, cuts and other features of jewelry pieces.
Comfortable with technology and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrate ability with math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) as well as cash handling.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Great ability to provide and receive feedback from peers, supervisors, and customers and adapt behavior with coaching.
Genuine enjoyment in providing great service Highly competitive, motivated and self-starter with integrity, a positive attitude and have a strong work ethic.
High performing and driven to achieve goals.

Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and color discernment are required at a very high level and with high frequency.
