The Client:
One of the US Most Digitally Wired health systems is taking improving patient care to a new level via technology. Our client has a passion for excellence in patient care, using technology to help improve patient outcomes. They are an integrated health system with 18 hospitals and nearly 200 clinics, outpatient centers and rural health providers. The organization runs 500 applications, multiple platforms, and mainstream database technology to meet the needs of clinicians and corporate staff. The Work: Business Intelligence Developer/Dashboard
We are building a state of the art data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. This position will assist in the development of dashboards based on defined data that will be mined using known dashboard tools. In addition, you will troubleshoot and tune existing data warehouse applications and assist in creating new or enhanced components of the data warehouse.
The Skills:

years in virtual dashboard creation working with data structures and models. If you have used the following technology or something similar, you may be qualified for this position. Micro Strategy, Business Objective, HP's Vertica, Oracle's data base tool, orTableau.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or IT related discipline; or a minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience in place of degree.
Preferred: Specific training courses in database and/or software systems, health informatics, business intelligence, data management and data warehousing.
Preferred: Minimum two years in computer programming and two years SQL experience.
Preferred: Experience working with clinical information systems, informatics, business intelligence, data management and data warehousing
Able to participate in detailed project management;
Provide outstanding customer service;
Exercise sound judgment, especially in an emergency situation;
Exhibit high degree of flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to new or unusual situations;
Prioritize workload and meet deadlines;
Exhibit strong oral and written communications skills;
Actively participate in education and self-development activities to enhance professional growth;
Work under general direction;
Work effectively under pressure;
Able to troubleshoot, including areas involving no previous experience.
SALARY: Competitive salary (DOE) with excellent benefits that include health, vision, dental, retirement and tuition reimbursement.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
