York is actively seeking Senior and Mid-Level Casualty Claims Adjusters for our office in Roseville, CA.
Our Casualty Claims Adjusters are responsible for investigating, evaluating and adjusting Commercial General and Automobile Liability claims. Claims handled consist of medium to complex non-litigated and litigated general liability, third party automobile bodily injury, property damage claims and may include claims involving more specialized lines of business such as employment practices liability, construction defect and/or errors and omissions.
Our Ideal candidates will possess the following experience
o Extensive knowledge of investigation management including, but not limited to, taking and using recorded statements, determining coverage and application of coverage to claims, delivering case value and negotiation and resolution of claims.
o Must also be able to handle more complex, litigated claims.
o Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
o Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational skills are essential
o Engage and manage coverage counsel and defense counsel
o Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to determine priorities
o Must be able to work well under pressure
o Bi-lingual/Spanish is preferred
Must have 3 to 5 years claims handling experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Commercial General Liability
o Property and Casualty Claims
o Public Entity adjusting
o Homeowners Liability
o GL Experience with Food Borne Illnesses
o Premises liability (Owner occupied and tenant occupied)
REQUIREMENTS:
o In-depth knowledge of multi-jurisdictional claims handling issues
o PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
o Adjusters License
o Assoc. in Claims designation is preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
