INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - POOLCORP Careers


Responsibilities:
Manages the workflow of project process including: creating project quotes, determining product preferences, quantities, and prices, conducting project research, coordinating vendor and internal communications including customer follow up to determine sales success rate.
Establishes timelines for project completion.
Delegates necessary tasks with those responsible.
Completes measurement reporting documents in timely and required fashion.
Works to meet expectations and requirements of customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in services.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
Analyzes and identifies trends within the scope of all projects utilizing customer contact information, sales tracking, customer penetration trends and product quotes.
Recommends sales strategies, targets customers and potential new products.
Ensures information is current and accurate within database systems in order to provide sound decisions and recommendations.
Obtains market share data through regular completion of company metrics.
Promotes specification and sales of exclusive product lines.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.
A minimum of 4 years sales experience in a wholesale sales environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong customer service attitude with ability to build a strong rapport.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Proficient knowledge of project sales cycle.
Telemarketing experience desirable.
Proficient with MS Office programs especially MS Word & Excel.
