Accounting Clerk - Your Job Duties As the Accounting Clerk, you will support full cycle accounting operations including:
Organizing invoices for accounts payable (AP) processing by project manager and company across several different entities (moderate to high volume accounts payable) Receiving and processing invoices for payment Post daily accounts receivables (AR) for Storage Facilities Batch invoices from the accounts payable (AP) email to a centralized location Scan and attach approved invoices Following up with vendors to inquire about past-due invoices or invoices not received Assisting in responding to and solving accounts payable inquires and discrepanciesVerifying and adding new vendors into the Yardi accounting software (collect W-9, COI's)File accounts payable and accounts receivable aging reports and paid invoices Monitor and print receipts for credit card statements and perform monthly credit card reconciliations Support accounting team with month end close and gathering reports for financial reportingPerform petty cash reconciliation, payroll reimbursement and other misc.

Accounting Clerk - Required Skills & Experience Ability to report to work in office daily (work schedule flexible between 7-830am start) Proficient with using MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel)Able to handle large volume of transactions efficiently and accuratelyPrior experience processing accounts payable (AP) or accounts receivables (AR) in a moderate to high volume environment Able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and meet deadlinesFlexibility and desire to work in a small business where no two days are alike Desire for a long term home and career longevity with a company High School diplomaAccounting Clerk - Desired Qualifications (not required) Prior experience working in the real estate, construction, leasing or property management industriesPrior experience using the Yardi ERP software platform Prior experience with company credit card reconciliations 2 year or 4 year degree in accounting or bookkeeping certification This is a full time 40 hours per week role, paid hourly.
Overtime is expected to be very limited.
Compensation hourly, DOE.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
