Position DescriptionThe idea candidate has Wesco/Anixter experience, along with the go to market strategies of leading Power Protection manufactures.
This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your sales career! We are looking for a Regional Power Manager located in the Roseville, Sacramento region of California or the Seattle area.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting sales efforts within California, and the Rocky mountain region from Seattle, to Arizona including Denver and Salt Lake City Wesco/Anixter locations.
The Regional Power Manager will be responsible for selling and supporting our power and cooling products such as:
Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), rack power distribution, data center cooling and DCiM solutions.
Candidates with channel experience as well working knowledge of leading brand manufactures for UPSs, power strips, and DCiM will be considered.
The Regional Power Manager will be part of a national team of experts focused on power & cooling manufactures, product sets, solutions, pricing, and channel programs.
The Regional Power Manager will work with key manufacturer partners to develop new business, while retaining existing business and customers.
Qualified individual will engage in key markets with training, drive relationships with power value added resellers', Anixter locations, and manufactures to drive power and cooling opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Achieve individual regional goals while supporting national sales efforts.
- Work collaboratively with local sales organizations to support customers' requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
- Deliver prepared sales presentations utilizing support material describing products or services.
- Front line power and cooling subject matter expert for local Anixter Sales Representatives in region:
(UPS, rack power distribution, containment, data center cooling solutions and DCiM)- Explain power and cooling technologies, services or products, and answer questions from customers or prospects.
- Customer facing sales calls, developing, prospecting opportunities along with Sales Reps.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partners.
- Manage power and cooling integrator partners and programs in region.
- Own and manage opportunity pipeline along with forecasting.
- Manage time effectively to achieve objectives daily, weekly and monthly.
